"Seminar - Modern methodology of adult education"

Prishtina, 23-26 December 2013-DVV International in cooperation with the University of Prishtina - Faculty of Pedagogy and Faculty of Education, organized the three day seminar - Modern methodology of adult education.This seminar was attended by 17 newly graduated young teachers who had no previous experience in the field of adult education. At the schools and other institutions were these teachers are employed are also being implemented non-formal education programs, and it is necessary that these young teachers should at least have basic knowledge on adult teaching methods and their application during the learning process.

Prof. Dr. Demë Hoti, a lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Faculty of Education in Prishtina was engaged as a Trainer to implement this seminar.

During the three days of the seminar, the attendees acquired knowledge on the following topics:

·         Essential differences between children and adult learning;

·         Modern trend in planning the educational work with adults;

·         Planning teaching for adults according to learning subjects-modules.

·         Modern trends in evaluating adult knowledge;

·         Most useful methods in adult education work, applying the role playing method - Modification and adaptation according to the stages of respective subjects-modules.

Upon the conclusion of the Seminar the attendees received participation Certificates from Dvv International office in Kosovo, that recognize the participation and the knowledge acquired during this Seminar.
