Printing the learning book "Electricity and electronic installations in cars"

During April 2013 was completed and printed the learning manual now available in book form that can be used for training adults attending the course in car electronics. This book will particularly be used by the course attendants at the vocational training centers and vocational high schools - non-formal education.

Research "Inter ethnic relations and the possibility of opening joint schools in Kosova"

February-March 2013 - In Kosova there is still a clear division especially in education and inter ethnic communication, particularly between the Albanian and Serb communities. In some of the municipalities in Kosova which are inhabited with mixed communities - Albanian and Serb, the pupils and students education is divided on ethnic grounds. The learning curricula differ and the facilities dedicated to the education are divided, or have different working hours that prevent the contact and communication between various ethnicities that have lectures in these education facilities.

Seminars - Training the adult teachers and trainers

19 November – 20 December 2012 - The implementation of the project "Modern methodology in working with adults" has started and it aims to increase the quality of education for adults through the organising of two day seminars for the teachers of vocational high schools that provide non formal education, as well as the Trainers of Vocational Training Centres which provide module trainings for unemployed persons registered at the Regional Employment Centres.

"Adult education and life long learning" fair

22-23 November 2012-Under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, in close cooperation with organisation dvv International - office in Kosovo (who at the same time also financed this project) it was organised the promoting fair where providers of adult education in Kosovo promoted their work. This fair was attended by vocational high schools which provide educational programmes for adults, Vocational Training Centres, Youth Centres, local NGOs, and private providers of adult education in Kosovo. The implementer and partner in organising this fair was the organisation - CEO (Congress Event Organisation).

Supplying with equipment the vocational high school "Gjin Gazulli" in Prishtina

23 October 2012-The vocational high school "Gjin Gazulli" in Prishtina, provides vocational education in the field of electro-technology. This school provides regular education (formal) and education for adults (non formal) according to licensed programs by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Every year this school is attended by some 800 regular students and some 200 adult students, that had previously stopped their education process due to various reasons.

Teachers training on the implementation of multicultural education programme

15 October - 31 November.2012- Multicultural education is a powerful instrument of inter-ethnic reconciliation, the development of inter-ethnic inter-cultural communication and cooperation skills, for active peace development, the development of constructive conflict solutions skills and not violent, for preventing and fighting all types of prejudices, stereotypes and various "isms" in families, educational institutions, text books and school curricula.

Training of Serb Job Seekers in Gracanica Municipality according to - ECDL package

01 July - 31 October - 2012-The training of 15 unemployed persons belonging to the Serb community in Gracanica municipality has been successfully completed. Creating employment conditions by training the job seekers within the Serb community in Gracanica municipality according to ECDL package was the main goal of this Project, realised in cooperation with the organisation ASEK - Agency for the Support of Employment in Kosovo. Knowledge in the field of Informatics Technology is very important for the employment market in Gracanica municipality, having in mind that Gracanica municipality is a new municipality, and in the process of the Institutional Consolidation of its bodies of services for the citizens of this municipality, computer skills are basic skills for the employment of unemployed in this municipality.

Women and girls training from the rural areas of Kosovo – Programme “Promotion of agriculture – horticulture and fruit production”

April-September. 2012-,,Kalabria” association is a member of the Kosovo Women Association and it is a non-profit nongovernmental association with the public benefit status, whose mission is development of women capacities within the Kosovo education system, by offering services for eradication of illiteracy and vocational training, especially for uneducated women in rural areas in Kosovo.

Publishing of the learning package for the professions of water installation and heating installation for the Vocational Training Centres in Kosovo.

June.2012-A book has been published containing a learning package for the professions of – water installation and installation of central heating which are being organised in the seven Centres of Vocational Training (CVT) in Kosovo.

Training for the blind and partially sighted persons

June 2012- In cooperation with the association of the blind and partially sighted persons (SHVPDK) was completed the training of 32 blind and partially sighted persons.The blind and partially sighted persons association (SHVPDK) is a nongovernmental and non-profit organisation that aims advocating the issues for the blind and partially sighted persons. Integration of persons with disabilities especially blind persons in public life and their training for independent life is one of the biggest challenges and main goals of of SHVPDK.

Third Regional Andragogy Academy of South Eastern Europe

  Prishtina - 09th -13th.May 2012. “Quality Assurance in Adult Education Institutions”- After two successful Regional Andragogy Academies, the third Academy gathered representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia and Kosovo.19 Participants came from both governmental and non-governmental institutions, thus making a very good participation structure for this three-day workshop.
